i-Vote.org is an online educational resource aimed at Key Stage 3 students. The purpose of i-vote.org is to provide school children with an interactive e-Resource that will supplement their Citizenship education.
By joining i-Vote.org, students and teachers have access to a range of interactive activities and resources. These activities and resources are designed to show students how voting, democracy and Parliament & Government are implemented in the UK and how these concepts and institutions affect the lives of the students themselves.
By using a database system, i-Vote stores the progress of each user as they complete a quiz at the end of each activity section. So, unlike other e-Resources, i-Vote provides direct feedback to both the student and teacher about the student’s development within the Citizenship subject. These activities have also been designed alongside the QCA unit guide criteria to ensure that all activities and resources are of relevance and the high quality demanded from national curriculum standards.
