dreamescape offers the user a truly innovative and interactive way of creating original poetry every time they visit the site. Ever-changing images and words allow the user to explore the virtual environment and generate unique pieces of poetry with every visit.
The idea for dreamescape was originated from a personal interest in poetry, both reading and creating, and the desire to make poetry more universal and appealing to a broad audience.
The intention of this project is to create an interactive environment constructed of photography and typography allowing users to create their own poetry by exploring a virtual space. Each visit is made unique by the user, promising a truly individual experience and a new way to create poetry in a combination of words and image. dreamescape intends to suggest that through choices the user will make they will create a verse that is constructed from their visions and desires. The site is aspires to be a tool of escape into the users own dreams. Differing from many sites that offer information, dreamescape aims to provide an element of escape and entertainment that can be used repeatedly with ever changing outcomes.
